Mouth wound healing?

Anyone know any good ways to speed healing of wounds inside one's mouth? Guess my teeth cut up the inside of my mouth a bit when I face-planted. The rest of my face is healing very nicely thanks to adammaker's sooper sekrit herbalriffic wound-healing goop. Adam, you should patent and sell that stuff ( Read more... )

How bad is the mouth wound? Too much raw garlic can cause a chemical burn.

When I get ulcers in my mouth, they are patches that are rubbed raw, I swish with Mylanta and spit it out. It seems to help with the healing process. I don't know how well it will work with cuts so your mileage may vary.

carmex. . . it heals canker sores, so I think that it would probably work. and if the sores ache, you could use ora-gel

I have no idea for the mouth sores, but I will say that you should listen to the girls and rest a bit more. You may like to think it, but you're not superman. Give yourself a chance to heal.

Colegate makes a peroxide based mouth rinse, it is great for cuts and canker sores. Availale at Walgreens.
