My kid's better than your kid (on drums, anyway), and I can prove it.
Last night my son's band, Surrogate Sons, won their second round of the battle of the bands to see who gets to open at this year's Freaker's Ball. There is one round to go. Shan and I hung out with Mike, his band, and his friends until around 4 am before we finally drove, bleary-eyed, back to Lawrence. -
Now that was amusing...
It took me a minute or so of casting about before I remembered that what I was looking for.
It was my ADD medicine.

Welp, turns out the settlement isn't even going to cover the medical bills, let alone all the tertiary expenses.
But as the sticker on my guitar case says, "When life gives you lemons, ask for a bottle of tequila and some salt."
