Just figured I'd post my rant about 'OOC' here. Spawned in a convo with halflight007 in hetaliasunshine.
I operate under the belief that there's no such thing as 'OOC'. There is only 'normal' and 'abnormal'. No person is ever always 'in character'. That phrase bugs me, as every human being is a thousand different facets, and I've seen the sweetest girl you'll ever meet start screaming obscenities because she finally got pushed a little too far. Saying something is 'out of character' for someone is insisting that that person/character is only allowed to act one particular way, which I find disgusting, personally.
