It's very very rare that I make any kind of mix so I figured I might as well post it here. It was supposed to be a Summer 2K7 joint inspired by the one Circe made last year, but my tastes are different. Basically its just a mish mash of cuts I've been digging lately

Love Action Patrol. I haven't heard them in years, but my god...so much fun.
I had never heard Regina Spektor until this mix...wow, I actually really dig that song.
Lemuria, Beezewax, New Bomb Turks, Copyrights, Jay Reatard, Dinosaur Jr. (one of my favorite Dinosaur Jr songs ever), and Lemonheads are all a big "duh" from me. As in, YES! Awesome.
Some of the stuff on it wasn't for me, and the flow was a bit off. But I also realize you were mostly just trying to compile music for people to hear. I'm also totally homo and take making mixes far more seriously than I should and worry about things like "flow."
Anyway, a PM is forthcoming with a link to my mix, and a tack listing.

Thank you for the review though! I know it is a bit off, especially if you don't like all of the styles of music. The first half I'm particularly fond of since the Spank Rock and FFA tracks virtually blend together. I took that Lil Mama song out of my version and it flows a lot better. Otherwise the whole thing is a little longish.
I couldn't really get the second half to work all that well. The Avril song throws things off a bit but it's got such a strong chorus that I wanted to use it, and segueing into Tattle Tales was kind of a tongue in cheek move.
Regina Spektor worked surprisingly well after The Copyrights. Who knew. The last third really falls apart though, and it more just a bunch of good songs than anything.
That Panda Bear track is 12 minutes long but man, I love that album. So chill, so pretty.
