I do a lot of data conversions for my job and what that means is that I have to get the client's old data, figure out its structure, somehow extract the data, and convert it to our format. It's interesting to see the different systems because you start to think "what retard designed this database structure?" But I do actually enjoy working with databases and having to find ways to ...get into... (that's the legal way of saying it) the different databases.
