[The comm. clicks on and there’s low thumping, like someone tapping it.] This stupid thing even working? Professor Monroe. Grey? Hello?
Dammit. Last I remember… [Last John remembers, he was lying in the snow holding his head, sure the pain was going to kill him. Now he’s in some sort of containment facility with a communicator, sort of like the ones

He looks pretty lost, so Mimmi figures she should go up to him and help him out. H must be a new passenger.
She approaches quickly, smiling slightly]
Hallo.

It's only when he's startled by an unfamiliar voice and his head snaps around to see a woman approaching him at a less-than-favorable speed that his heartbeat begins racing. He only takes a very short moment to examine her before the lighter in his hand is flipped open. She must be one of Stryker's scientists and there's no way he's letting them fill him with needles and acids.]
Don't touch me!
[The poor girl never stood a chance. As he takes a few frightened steps back, John lifts a hand behind the flame of his lighter and, as though someone had fired propane through it, the fire shoots towards the woman at an alarming intensity with the intention of setting her aflame.]

For a moment she was completely stunned. She wasn't expecting to be attacked, and she was ultimately unprepared for it. She saw the fire, but simply stared at it like a deer in headlights. Even if she'd processed the fact there were flames headed in her direction, she wouldn't have been fast enough to move out of the way.
She didn't completely figure out what happened until a couple seconds after it hit her, which at that point didn't matter. She was on fire and it hurt. All she managed was to flail at it in a useless attempt to smother it out and scream]

Then he realizes he's standing here and not running. The woman is already on fire, she won't be following him, so why hasn't he taken off yet? The voice inside him egging him on to torture her is his answer, but with the fear of being caught and the desire to get out of here deep in him, he turns immediately and darts down the hall. He blames the sudden wave of exhaustion on his recent panic.]

Hey, stop there! Don't come near me!
[The young man can't be much younger than John himself, which makes him wary of threatening him--what if he's another mutant? But his body language, he doesn't act like a prisoner. He's not freaked out and he isn't breaking a sweat like John, something which he's attributing to his emotional status and not his immense use of his powers. He's never been exhausted by using them before, why should he now?]

I said stop!
[It's not necessarily that he doesn't want to hurt him ('cause he kind of does), but he wants to know what side he is on first. Surely he's too young to be one of Stryker's men, but one can't really be sure.]

It seems peaceful though, especially today, and Anna has decided shes done with hiding in her room, and in general cowering behind someone else.
Its with this attitude shes moving, a sense of purpose and resolution in her head.
She can DO this.]

But he still has enough strength to get defensive when he sees a woman coming confidently down the hall. He backpedals a few steps, on edge, and flips open his lighter. On top of his exhaustion, he's surely running out of lighter fluid.
He doesn't even shout to this one, just summons the flame from his lighter into his free hand and with a motion like throwing a baseball, tosses the ball of fire at her. Unfortunately for him, it hits the wall rather than his target.]

In that instant, the situation changed. Anna's thoughts immediately go to Jennifer, and the appearance the girl had. Innocence, tears, crying.
This isn't a passenger, Anna decides. It's a threat.
Instinct rules her now, and within a few sparse seconds she's shifted, and instead of a timid looking girl who had tried to feel brave, he has a large, three hundred pound angry, tiger snarling at him warningly from a few feet away.]

Quickly, John flicks his lighter again and waves his hand, summoning more flames into his palm. He doesn't throw this ball of fire at her, though, instead he holds it in his hand, letting it intensify there. This is someone he's fairly sure he doesn't want to hurt, but she might want to hurt him, and it's his own fault.]
Don't come any closer.

Holy shit...
[His first instinct is to turn back and run away again, but now he's stopped, he's struggling to catch his breath again and if he goes the way he came, he's bound to run back into someone he doesn't want to ever see again. So until he knows what to do, he just backs up a few steps, holding his hand to his head and looking absolutely exhausted. He needs to run, but he just can't...]

[Yes, the tank speaks with the high-pitched voice of a little girl, why do you ask? Musashi whirls its eye briefly at Pyro, then moves towards him in a four-point cacophony.]
Hey! You! Stop right there!
[Playing patrolling guard is fun!]

Hell no!
[before turning right back around and darting down the hall, hoping for a staircase. Looks like all he needed to get his second wind was to get that wave of fear sent through him. Luckily, he still has enough in him to flip open his lighter as he runs and carelessly shoot the fire back over his shoulder at the robot.]

Why she's running towards the fire, she'll never know. But something tells her there may be something she can do.]

The things he's seen in this facility don't do much for him, either. That giant robot thing, the other mutants... What kind of person is this Stryker dude anyway? Turning mutants against their own kind?
However fatigued, even through the sweat dripping into his eyes, John can still make out the form of a woman coming down the hall. He gathers up what strength he has left to stand erect again and summon a flame from his lighter into his shaking hand, which he holds defensively in front of him.]
St--stop! Get away! [His shout sounds strangled, even to him.]

Calm!
[She forces all of her will behind the Command, hoping that it will catch long enough for her to find out what the issue is.]
What has you so upset?
