hehe I was punished for my transgression by my complete inability to comprehend what I was reading the first time I went through the book. All I knew was that it was cool and that I liked it. I clearly remember that I had to read the book a few more times later to understand what the hell it was about.

yeah, the same thing happened to me when i first encountered the Dragonlance Chronicles. i picked up Dragons of Winter Night (the 2nd book) first, and thorougly enjoyed it, but didn't really understand what was going on until i read the whole series again
