Jubilee had been there for nearly a week, and Warren decided, as he woke up after a late evening of business meetings, that it was about time he checked in on his newest house guest. He'd never known her well - they'd been on the same team briefly a few years back, but Warren had still had the metal wings at the time and he hadn't exactly been

Jubilee didn't take her eyes off the screen until she'd finished the level and then pressed pause. The best thing about this system was that she could play all the games she thought she'd never be able to again. She'd missed them. And at least she hadn't blown it up yet. Just run up a bill downloading all the old nintendo games.

"Hey, Warren," she said, dropping the controller. "I used to kick so much ass at this." She shrugged. "Thanks for letting me crash here with you and Wolvie, by the way," she added, kicking her feet up onto the table. She still couldn't believe that Wolverine and Warren had a thing. So weird. But hey, if it made them happy, she totally needed to support them.

Warren sat down next to Jubilee on the couch. "It's my pleasure. I know Scott and Logan are happy to have you here, too. I hope you're settling in ok."

"Got any suggestions for good two player games?" he added, grabbing the second controller.

Jubilee raised an eyebrow. "So how are you and Wolvie getting along these days?" She smiled. "I mean, I know its got to be totally awkward for you, talking to me about it, but like, I'm here to listen and stuff."

She grinned. "I downloaded Mortal Kombat earlier. Totally call Kitana, though."

"My 14-year-old self would never let me play anyone but Johnny Cage, anyway," Warren said, as the opening screens began to play.

"Wait, why would it be awkward for me to talk to you about Wolverine?" He narrowed his eyes. "What do you know?"
