Ad fontes

It is difficult to keep writing so forgive me if this is all a bit disjointed and boring.
Almost every day I find myself thinking « oh I must tell Mummy that «  or something similar.... it takes time.
Anyway I have found comfort in the project which is the house at Chabaneix, and I had to go last weekend to pick up Rosie’s carte de resident.

I didn’t have the energy to cut the grass, but I did enjoy just being there.

On Sunday I went to the market in Jarnages and picked up some strawberries and asparagus.

This cat looked as if he was in the queue for the boulangerie but I don’t think that the photo captures the moment at all. I had the sun on the screen so it was impossible to see what I was doing.
I was driving home when I saw this sign.

When I was studying with Open University Ad fontes was a rallying cry of the tutors, so feeling nostalgic I stopped the car and went.
It wasn’t far, and I enjoyed seeing this source which seemed more concrete than some of the sources I had tried to use during my studies.

Orchid season is on us again and yesterday I saw a couple in a marshy field, which I am sharing.
