Rockin' Robins

I saw four robins hopping around on the front lawn this morning. Earliest I've seen them show up for the past few years...

There's still patches of melting snow on the ground, for Gawd's sake!

Not to knock the steam out of your observation, but they could be the robins that stay in our city all winter no matter what the weather is. but given i saw 4 today elsewhere, and a few doves fucking in the backyard, they are probably back from warmer climates.

I'd not heard of any robins staying over winter. I thought only the fat, useless lazy, poop-squirting geese did that.
