OMG THANK YOU! YOU HAVE COMMON SENSE!
Most of the fandom loves it. Its sickening and an insult to Belle in any form!

Rumpel is a power hungry coward (no offense, trust me, I LOVE him) he is not (a) a selfish man who was denied a woman beauty because she was ugly or (b) a prince he refused to marry an enchantress. Those were the reasons why Adam became the Beast in the Disney version and in the original tale.

Jane (who writes all Rumpel episodes, Red's ep and Jiminy's) has lusted after Rumpel (its all over her twitter) and wrote this one so her Mary Sue could get into his pants and be his epic one true love.

My dearly beloved josiefier made this for me. Emmy Rossum and Patrick Wilson (as Christine and Raoul from Phantom of the Opera) fit so well for Belle and Adam. They could have muted PotO and spliced it in and we would have had a better episode (which is one of TWO she wrote that negates set cannon. (1)Ashley's age. She's 19. She's drinking in a bar. (2)Grumpy's whole backstory

Ah yes I saw you asking for that gif I was lazy. :P and yes I do agree that episode was just crap with some shit and you are right about Rumple he is a coward and power hungry. And that just didn't work at all. That episode missed so many of the characters of the Disney version which is sadly the only one I know. My favourite has always been Alice in Wonderland.
