I've found a wonderful new alcoholic "toy".  I recently purchased Absente a lite version of "true" absinthe, and this has set my mind rolling.  the taste, its look, and preparation are all so very unique it makes me giddy with excitement.

it'd be a good thing to take on a camping trip!!!

after your reply i've been wanting to go camping... i havent done that in years, i kinda miss sleeping in a tent and waking up to annoying blue-jays kawing

i'm certainly getting a bottle of "real" absinthe and making a small bottle of the pot-sinthe, and taking them both camping... hopefully this plan doesnt fall through =P

i'll keep you updated on the info, but bare in mind, my lot isn't all that great at following through =/
