These entries have been great and very enjoyable to read. I'm glad you kept such a good journal. When I've traveled, I've found myself good for the first few days and then slacking after that. I'm thinking my next adventure, assuming it's not work-related, will involve the handy laptop, and I hope that makes my notations more reliable. You will feel blessed some day that you kept meticulous notes.
I'm so glad that you got to go, that you had an awesome time, and that you found a reward in this travel that you didn't find in Italy. Sometimes, we have to grow into things ... I NEVER appreciated my round the country trip when I was 12 anywhere near as much as I appreciated my round-the-country experience of last summer. The circumstances, obviously, were vastly different.
Anyway, thanks for sharing. I read little tidbits on the pages in your photo album, but I was always eager to see the pages hidden beneath. I can't say it enough; I really enjoyed vicariously sharing your travel adventure.
I'd like to be able to say that I wrote everything just for myself, but like with most of what I do, I can't help but to find myself speaking to some sort of audience. I really wanted someone to comment.
