Ok. This is probably the hardest entry I have had to write in a long time.

I didnt get the AMTRAK job. I just found out. They gave us a lot of feedback, basically saying that we would have had the job, but internal employees got the job instead.

I dont really understand. From what I know of AMTRAK, internal employees (other AMTRAK and TCU union

That just plain sucks. I keep feeling that way too. I'll go in for an interview and get a call back saying I'm qualified for the postion, but that it was already filled. Doesn't make sense at all. I'm thinking, if I'm qualified and went in for an interview, why wasn't I hired? And why would I get an interview if the position was already filled? Is there something wrong with me? Not to mention the lack of jobs recently. I think my government professor hasn't actually gone out and looked for a job recently, she just tkaes governmental statistics on employment rates. I haven't found a job, most places aren't hiring or can't afford to hire anyone.

damn I cant wait to see you. If I had gotten this job, I would probably already be there training, and I wouldnt be back in Houston for some time.

So maybe things always turn out the way they are supposed to.
