Could Alan Alda look any older at all? No. No, he could not.
There was this moment in the sixth episode of the season where the scene cut back and forth from Santos and his team walking into a facility to Vinnick and his team walking into the same facility, and talking about prep, and each Santos-and-team scene was lit with blue light and each Vinnick-and-team scene was lit with red light. At first I thought "oh, cool!" and then I thought "hmm, heavy-handed." Either way, it was neat to notice.
The live debate was both bad and good. Santos talking about public option in healthcare made me sad. Vinnick recommending drilling in ANWAR because no one ever goes there and thus will never see the ugly derricks (wtf?) made me cringe. Politics is all just one big cycle, huh? Earthshattering revelations up in this joint.
WHY ARE JANEANE GAROFALO'S EYEBROWS SO THICK AND DARK? WHY, WHY, WHY? And now in this eighth episode, CJ's eyebrows and Kate's eyebrows are crazy thick and dark too! I don't understand.
Are Annabeth and Leo going to get it on? I don't know if I want that.
This sure does feel like a final season. A more enterprising Jessa would take the (vast) amount of time required to point out similarities between each correlating season of Buffy and The West Wing (Josh is Buffy, Sam is Angel? Annabeth is Dawn, clearly).
I am so, so tired.
