Tabard
I've stopped playing wow for well over 6 months, but it hasn't left me completely. I still reminisce about times I spent raiding, and bonding with people I'd never physically meet, and I wanted to do something special. There was a local convention coming up, so I figured I'd make another costume. I've cosplayed Illidan in the past, but with now having a full time job, I couldn't devote a lot of time to make anything too big. I'd always wanted to make a tabard, and so, 3 months later, I have one!
For any other seamstresses out there, I used the Simplicity 2868 pattern with shortened sides, a side zipper instead of one at the back, and piping for the outline (it was murder on the pointy edges)
I'm quite proud the way it turned out. I picked the Orgrimmar tabard because I'm really a Horde girl at heart, and you can already buy the PVP one, so I wanted mine to look unique, yet still recognizable. I was an honourary Orgrammarian human for a day :3
