With my daughter out of state for over 2 weeks, I've had my fill of adult social time.
I spent much of the weekend with my best friend, who is now out of state for a week and a half. We watched the Tour de France on Sunday on her friend's big screen (he's in our cycling group). I'd never seen it, so I got tutorials in jerseys and stages and whatnot. Gorgeous scenery!
Saturday afternoon I went to a barbecue and party for 4th of July. I won Cards Against Humanity--a dubious honor that.
Today I had early dinner out with an old friend, and tomorrow I'm visiting another friend (and maybe going swimming).
What else? Trying to do twice as much coursework with the kid gone. Hm, and running. I only run every other day, but it's never far from my mind with the race being just 10.5 days away now.
