I am on my bed when I see something high up on the opposite wall. Something small. Something moving. Something black. Oh no. The spider is very quick. I don’t know what to do. My mom is already in bed. I wake her up. She doesn’t have her contacts in, so she can’t help. I find the spider spray. I have to do this myself.

You're brilliant. This is my favorite entry by far. I'm sorry this struck you so hard. I usually feel a similar guilt when I perform the task of taking the life of an insect. And sometimes you wish that you hadn't spotted it. Then the illogical fear that creeps into your head would never have come about. Good entry. Good Robin.
