I am rarely visiting Livejournal these days, so I probably a bit late - but my condolences.

Thank you so much. While the kids are all adults, so we aren't working at co-parenting, he was still "extended family" and loosely, a friend. I'm amazed at how the waves of grief sneak up and drown me. So, thank you. I do appreciate it.
