i think people worry too much about what other people do in their private lives and personally i cant stand it when people say that they are straightedge. i mean people always say its your life and you suffer the concequences but when people make the decison to do drugs then people that dont make the same decsion belittle them. i think that is so

dude what are you getting all offensive about? and umm non-tattoo edge is like an example. some people dont agree with tattoos just like some people dont agree with drugs. so since they dont agree with tattoos then they might as well claim edge against tattoos. i mean thats what straight edge people do. and umm im sorry did i say go drink and drive i specifically said DONT drink and drive but if your at your house then you should be able to do what you want. its not hurting anyone so why make it your buisness. thanks.

lyle is right. someone from a subgroup of people is always going to "ridicule" the other. but the only point i want to make is that drinking (more so then smoking) does ultimately cause problems. there is no way of avoiding it. Calculate all the problems and deaths that drunk people cause. By nature, drunk people fuck things and people up. by that i mean that your chances of hurting someone or yourself increase tenfold when you are under the influence of some controlled substance. when people "ridicule" you, most times its friends or family that care about you, and are only trying to make things easier for you down the road. yes, you come across the assholes that try to shove something down your throat, i dont really agree with that. im just trying to point out some facts here, not opinions, that will justify why some people make the decisions that they do.

Unresponsbile Drunkness causes problems. People who abuse it and are stupid about it. Responsbile drinking causes about the same ammount of problems as having your music up to loud.. That's about the only problem that comes from people that are responsbile..

half the time Stupid people dont drink responsibly.. Everyone im friends with, everyone i would ever drink with does it responsbily. I find anyone who doesn't needs to act there age. Anyone who doesn't do things in a mature and responsbile way, can always hurt people. It doesn't matter what your doing, being irresonsbile with anything can be dangerous. Its the stupid people that make things look bad. Its not the act its self
