Hmm IIRC the same article (can't find link now) said Zuo Xiaoqing's dubber was mainly known for narrating children's tales. I have no idea why they had issues with her own voice, even if her intonation is a tad less polished and more modern - it sounds more *natural* and expresses just as much, if not more emotion. (If they had to dub someone, An Yixuan gets my vote.)

Not for the cost of it here, I suppose. OTOH one would expect a helluva lot more for the YesAsia prices.

I like the dubber's voice, it's lovely and sweet. But generally I prefer voices undubbed unless absolutely necessary, although dubbing techniques seem to have improved since SBC days.
