Well, my online account's been updated and I've officially been nominated for Peach Corps (or Peace Score). Which doesn't mean as much as it sounds like, because I've got to deal with at least a month's worth of medical clearance fun first (and it's only a month if I'm really, really lucky and healthy). Still, they guess that a person's anywhere

Congrats on making the first big hurdle. You raise a tough question. Do you go to the area you are long for, or do you go with the program you are attracted to? Jay and I were accepted by Peace Corps and got assigned to Malaysia even though we had asked for Africa. We said no and still got to Africa another way. Joyce you have education, compassion and passion. If you decide Peach Core in Africa is not for you there are still other ways to get to the area you want. Have you looked at other options?
