Yeah, I have a floater in my left eye (which is also where I have an astigmatism, which makes it doubly worse.) I've had it for a couple of years. It does seem to have gotten better, but I wish the damn thing would just detach. I do get flashes of light from time to time, but they're very mild. According to my ophthalmologist, it happens as the floater is slightly pulled away from the eye wall by the liquid in my eye. But I can pretty much ignore the damn thing.

I hope yours resolves soon. It must be very annoying, such a huge disruption to your vision.

I think my eye doc is a little concerned because the vitreous detachment is really big. (sigh) Depend on me to overdo it.

Glad that your lab results were excellent - it's all that climbing and boxing! - and that the floater is not an emergency situation. Just be sure to, ha, keep an eye on your vision for any changes.

Aging is better than the alternative! And being busy is also good.

Aging beats dying all to hell, but still, I'd like to cut down on the parts of me that decide to fuck up. (grin)

It's scary what can happen to your eyes when you're older. I hope yours resolves without any further complications.

It is. I'm really pleased with that. Fortunately that's mostly stuff I can control.

Happy to hear your lab work was so good! :)

Ugh I hope your eye resolves itself on its own.

Thank you! I was pleased with the labs.

I appreciate the good thoughts on my eye. It's mostly annoying because I am constantly aware of it because it's right in the middle of my vision. (sigh)

I bet! I have this thing in my left eye that's just a little floater and it annoys me, so I can only imagine what you're dealing with. :(
