I haven't written in a while so it needs to be done. I have had that itch to put something down but I haven't been inspired to lately for some reason. Oh well, it is time to get out of that funk and see what's going on in my tiny world

There is a teaching corps type program... teaching for america or something? I know that works with underprivaledged kids... and i think you may be able to travel with it? one of my friends was going to look into it, but i don't remember much about it. but there is always Boston! I still want to live there eventually.

First of all, I heart the icon! Also, I have looked into Teach for America but I think you're supposed to do it as soon as you graduate with your BA/BS so I would need to explore that further. At this point, I am trying to keep options open and seeing where life leads me. For all I know, I may end up doing something like JET ;)

it doesn't make sense to limit something like teach for america to just fresh graduates, but i don't know things. you would have fun with something like JET. i would suggest NOVA... but it is teh suck and isn't doing very well. too bad you just missed the JET app deadline for next year. app stuff opens in september and the deadline is early december. you'll get lots of points for all the traveling you've done and the languages you know. it shows that you can handle the culture shock/living in a completely different culture/environment. i'm sure other programs would think the same.
