That blows -- having recently gone through a long-distance move, I feel your pain. Luckily, I'm only one person, and didn't have much stuff to move -- just a carload (which had been in my car for months prior, heh). Of course, I still had had to bum a room from an "internet friend" who I knew only from IRC for a whole month (with my two cats!). That was (not) fun. Though in the end, my new job and (eventual) new place ruled.

Here's to hoping that your (eventual) new job and (eventual) new place will also rule! It's not quite a move unless it sucks -- and I've been through so many of those that I can attest to it as fact. Where in Tucson are you? My grandparents (who I just visited) live down there, near a Target and Pier 1 and Fry's (grocery, not electronics). Dunno if that sounds familiar... There are mountains on the horizon, cacti and dirt all around ;) I miss that -- one day I'll move to NM/AZ area and love it.
