Anyone know how to find an Agent for a book?

I have some finished stuff I want to get looked over.

What genre, if I may ask? I have three friends from college who are published writers, two with Tor, and a few other friends from college who are aspiring but not yet published writers. And a friend from college who worked as an editor for a few publishers and is now trying to start her own small press.

(This is what happens when you're on the staff of the university sci-fi magazine.)

Nothing that exciting. :( I have a few children's story books for ages 5 to 13ish.

Also I have some more adult stuff I was wanting to get published too.

But the kid stuff is my main focus.
