Last night didn't go quite as planned. I came home from school and found out mom and gotten take out food, and she bought me a side of steamed veggies.

Instead of the baby carrots and PB (see my March 19th post),I ended up eating:
2 small pieces of bread roll
1.5 c. steamed veggies

Later at night I had 2 bowls of chips!

Now I'm back to 108.5.

I've got to say, I've seen your calorie counts and they're always over 1,000. How do you stay so slim and lose weight that way?? I'm incredibly jealous!!

Genes, mainly. My mom's side of the family is thin. I deliberately make sure I eat at least 1200 calories because while I want to lose weight, I want to stay healthy and I don't want to screw up my metabolism.

Also, I'm afraid that if I really restrict, say under 1000 cals, my body will get used to that amount and even eating a healthy amount of cals will cause me to gain and when I get to my goal and start eating a healthier amount of cals to try and maintain, I'll gain all the weight back and then some. Wow, that was one really long sentance!

I think my normal intake is...I don't know...1800?? calories. So if I go down to 1200, 1300 and I exercise more than normal, I'm going to lose weight because I'm eating fewer calories and burning more than when I'm not trying to lose weight.

I hope this makes some sense!
