Here I am, posting in my livejournal, didn't think I'd be doing that again.  Life is funny that way though.  So many things are facts about my life right now that I didn't expect.  Most of them are positive.  I like to think that if I don't like the way that my life is at a certain time, that I have the power and the will to change it, and make it ( Read more... )

I'm going to predict your "OY" dopster03 May 30 2007, 05:42:20 UTC
(precipice: n. a high vertical or overhanging face of rock: the brink of a cliff)

I think your choice of vocabulary is precarious, 1-because I had to look it up for you, and 2-I don't think your standing on a cliff, cause I visited Oneonta, and I didn't see no mountains, or large gatherings of rock, and I certainly don't think a terrace or balcony would suffice to use the word precipice.

You know that was just my preamble to a whole speech I was gonna give, but I'm not a preceptor, or prebendary, and my prate does not precede or hold precedent over your prattle.. I'm just trying to keep your from making precarious statements and having a pratfall.. I predicate my whole precis on your predicament and I do think my precis has a great deal of precision.. I'm not saying this because I'm predacious, but I won't deny that I'm precocious..

Haha, pages 624&625 of funk&wagnalls standard dictionary came in handy... and I do think I used all those words fairly well.

I amuse myself.

I must say I'm impressed. There are many awesome p words in the English language and you've shown shear mastery over them :-D Well, I remember writing this, way back when, and whenever I start writing in a livejournal this happens. I get nostalgic or depressed and start ranting about it. Oh, and you're right there are no precipi in Oneonta. I'm just gonna assume precipi is the correct plural. Ttyl Ynnib. ;)
