So this coming Sunday, the BF and I are flying into LAX in the wee hours of the morning, where we will then need to kill FIFTEEN hours before he gets on his connecting flight to Taipei, and leave me forever. Ok, a year ( Read more... )

I love downtown, although it is not at it's glory on the weekends. The tour I tend to give, tends to still pass through the area, regardless. The MoCA has sveral locatios downtown. One is in Japantown. I also like some of the shops and the vibe in Los Feliz and Silverlake, which are both on that side of town. If it's a clear day, Los Feliz is right at the base of the hill of the Griffith Observatory... It's a view that looks OVER the Hollywood sign. That might be fun.

I have more ideas, but I am currently learning to type on an iPhone.... Tell me if you want more.

Thanks so much to you and little bro. In the end, we got 4 hours of sleep and had an insane flight at 6 in the morning. We were so pathetically tired that we went on an unsuccessful hunt for menudo, then rented a cheap motel in Inglewood and slept all day. Headed to HB now for dinner with the family, then back again to send my BF off to Taipei. Sniff...
