... I don't know how I completely missed this post on my friends list yesterday, but I'm so glad I went poking back through, because wow. That's just amazing, really well-done with all the lights and bodies and the sense of motion and noise.
I do love me some boys who are too good for their suspenders~
This is absolutely fantastic. You're SO good at angles and atmosphere, and the poses are wonderful as usual. I totally don't understand the black/white toning process though -- when I color, I drop in flat colors and just start shading on top. I'm kind of unprofessional that way XD How does the grayscale toning work? Do you paint it all in grayscale first, then how do you apply color? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've literally never worked that way before!
Thanks spunky, I'm glad you are enjoying these! About the bw process, what I did with this pic is as I was working in colours i regularly still check it in greyscale to see how it all looks, if it doesn't feel right I adjust the values of the colours until it does. :)
I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said.... The lighting is amazing and gorgeous! The poses are interesting and dynamic! The angle of the shot is fantastic! It all just blows me away! Good job!

And the lineart version is rockin' too. So awesome to see all the little details you packed in. <3
