Happy Halloween!
I'm a bit annoyed at Emily's current dubious life choices. Yesterday, while I was at work and before she went to work, she started dying her hair in a rainbow. Okay- first, I don't like that. New Advent calendars!
I have gotten 3 new (vintage- new to me) advent calendars by artist Erik Forsman! I've wanted one (or more) of his advent calendars for awhile now but they were always either far too expensive or badly damaged.

Christmas Cards and Advent Calendars
It's been a pretty good day today. I gilded the edges of a book, fixed dinner for tonight and half of tomorrow night's, got Emily to the doctor for an ingrown toe nail, got the chores done, read half a book (Equal Rites) and got my advent calendar list updated.. at least until I get another one ( Read more... ) -
Scrubbing Day
I (finally) have a day off and so today needs to be a scrubbing day. Emily swept and mopped the living room and hall yesterday and did one load of laundry but I need to finish the floors- Alex was very bad at the end- and wash several quilts and blankets as well as clean out the crate ( Read more... ) -
