I wrote this for my FB page, but thought I'd post it here, because really, this is still the venue where I feel most free to express love and enthusiasm.

There might be some spoilerish bits in here, but nothing more than you'd see in the average review.

Awww... this is so true! I'm not on FB and never ever was. I do venture to Twitter and mostly IG but LJ is the only place for me tbh.

I binged watched the entire show online during one weekend shortly after it had been released. I'm a huge Nail Gaiman fan esp since he created some of the most amazing graphic novel books. I LOVED everything about the storyline, the special effects, the set design, the locations and the soundtrack just as well. I've never watched Doctor Who tbh, but I LOVE David Tennant ever since I watched him in the captivating intense series Broadchurch. I really loved Michael Sheen in his edgy look. I do agree with you (and with our ubiquitous Mr. Kinney *g* ) about Crowley/ Aziraphale last scene at the Ritz being so RR :)

One of the reasons that I love the book so much is that it was my introduction to Neil Gaiman. I knew about him, of course, because I used to haunt a place called "Space Age books" which specialised in sci fi and fantasy as well as comics and graphic novels. But this was the first thing of his that I'd read, and now I have nearly all of his books. Many of them on audio book with Neil reading them which is a pleasure and delight all on its own.

DT as the Doctor was just a joy - so quirky and funny and spiky and he had the most wonderful relationships with his "companions".

In case you get confused, you might see the "finally ginger" line round the place about Crowley. It's because when the doctor first incarnates as the doctor, in the middle of a major crisis, all he wants to know if he's "ginger", because, apparently, he's always wanted to have red hair.
