Baby swing

Does anyone know of a baby swing that works up to 25 or 30 pounds? My 12 week old is about to outgrow his swing (weight limit of 17lbs). We really need a swing.

Graco makes a swing that you can slot a SnugRide carseat into, and those are good to 25 lbs. We got a lot of use out of ours, but if you don't already have a SnugRide, it's less of a good deal.

They claim that their standard baby swing (costs $60) is good to 25 lbs. as well.

I have no personal experience with swings, but a friend of mine still puts her 2 year old down for naps in a swing, so I'll find out what she has! We're headed over there tomorrow morning and I'll ask. If I don't report back soon, poke me!

Thanks Duck! Danny is not fond of my desk job, he wants to be in motion. So I need somewhere stationary but moving to park him. :)

Like some others have said, the papasan kind goes to a higher weight. She said it swings forward and back and also has a setting to swing side to side. She had to stop putting her daughter in to swing forward/back because the daughter would pull up on the bar after 6ish mo or so, but the side-to-side swing is the only way the kid naps now, and she was 2 in April. :) Good luck!

We have one like this from Fisher Price. The swing is good to 25lbs and then it converts to a rocker which is good to 40lbs.
