My dreams are in general trivial and not vivid at all, and I don't remember having nightmares since I was little, but tonight was so terrifying I had to sleep on the sofa. Although in retrospect false awakenings sound really cool at the time I thought I was, in all seriousness, losing my mind

That's some real scary shit. I also had a dream some time ago that left me feeling like that kid in the youtube video, 'David After Dentist': "Is this real life?" "Why is this happening to me?" "Is this going to be forever?"

Thankfully, it was this last sentiment that pulled me out of it. Nothing lasts forever, therefore this too shall pass.
