Today is my daughter's 24th birthday... 24... hmmmm 24.....I cant believe it. Funny how when they are kids time moves so slowly, and when they are grown up they age so suddenly!!... I miss my little kid... In retrospect, I guess it takes forever for kids to grow up so that we as parents cant take advantage of all that cutsie kid stuff because once

Crazy, isn't it? Aren't we still 24 ourselves? How did this happen?

At 24 I thought I knew everything.....of course, I thought that at 14 too.

Funny aint it?? All that time spent thinking ya know everything there is to know, then you reach that crest where you realize you don't know diddly and would settle for just knowing where your damned keys are every morning!

Yeah...
This last week Pat's mom gave me this book...she was all like "this is a really good book, you have to read it." And I'm thinking, yeah, Robert MacGammon, I've read and liked him. So I start the book and about 2 chapters in I'm thinking "this sounds really familiar, I think I've read it before," but since I can't remember the story I decide to finish it. So then, I'm going through my books (which are still in boxes because I still don't have any bookshelves) to find her some good books to read, and guess what I find...the same book she lent me. I mean, it's bad enough that you're so old you can't remember the books you've read, but when you actually own it?
