A little interest of mine

Those of you who knew me through our Japanese studies probably remember that I kind of have a "thing" for kanji (Chinese characters). I have always found them very interesting, and it's the only part of my Japanese studies that I'm actively continuing at the moment. WHat I think is neat, is how even though its "spelled" phonically each symbol carries its own connoitations and symbolism.
The Sword and Chrysathum.

Yeah, it's possible to look at a sentence and not be able to read it, but understand the meaning. Due to the way kanji work in Japanese, the reverse is possible, too. There have been plenty of times that I've been able to correctly say a word that's made up of kanji, but have almost no idea what it means.
