You know what this calls for!

Pie!

[And, without any hesitance, Harley finds a large custard creme pie firmly planted right into her face, followed immediately by his slightly less maniacal, far more humored cackle.]

[Splut! Harley hesitates a moment as the tin falls off, then rubs her eyes. It was a cheap laugh, but hey, it was a laugh. She couldn't fault him for being himself, right?]

.......... Hey, this don't taste too bad, Mistah J! Whadja put in it?

For once, I stuck with the classic recipe.

You're lookin' at a revitalized Joker, Harle! Time to show this City just why I was and am the Crown Prince of Crime in Gotham!

Laugh, and the world laughs with you...

Of course I'm amused.

Is this to be the new Gotham?

Oh, some are merely getting accustomed to their new surroundings...

... Trying to make it feel a bit more like home.

Question. Is the lyric "got away" or "took ballet"? They both fit. Inquiring minds want to know.

The Joker always gets away.

Though a few extra dance moves would certainly be a fun addition to my repertoire... A new kind of threat on the stage!

New steps are pointless when its the same song and dance.

Ooh, nice zinger.

I'm merely settling into old customs before things get mixed up a little. Start on familiar territory, work your way up... That sorta thing.

Though I'm surprised you know much about dancing with that cane there.

Cait Sith's got his own tongue. Unfortunately.

Do all madmen go to the same school to get the same cackle?

Do all heroes have the same lack of a sense of humor?

For a clown, your not very funny.
I know who you are. I know what you did.

And I am going to find you.
Then we'll see whose laughing, shall we?

You know how many people try to go up against me?

You know how many people attempted to match wits with me?

You know how many people failed?

And trust me, no matter what... I'll always be the one laughing in the end.

I don't know, you did seem pretty scared of Rorschach...

And, I don't think thats going to stop me. I'm stubborn.

Playing it safe isn't a sign of fear. It's a sign of knowing when you don't need to play it dangerous any longer. The ink blot certainly has a stronger sense of hard justice compared some past opponents, but he's not much to worry about yet.

Stubbornness isn't a valuable trait. It'll take quite a toll on your mortality.
