sparkle brush - I can link you to a tutorial how to download it.. what programs do you use?

& the spiral effect is some distort effect on Photoshop 7.0

i use photoshop 7.0 & animation shop 3.
i have psp8 (i believe it's ver. 8) so i can use tutorials for that too.

Spriral Effect - go to Filter, Distort, Twirl
make sure you've got the text highlighted well make sure it's selected so that'll it won't change the image!
