I didn't know there was a St. Nicholas' Day. Neither did my calendar or google, when I asked for December Holidays.

So I'm just going to do straight off the bat what I was about to do for the last one:

Item Two: I'm guessing falling stars is a meteor shower? Isn't there usually a major on in December? The first riddle included an astronomical reference, so this one might as well.

Item Three: The way she addresses you specifically makes me think that this riddle is aimed specifically at you, so you might want to consider times or places that have specific meaning to you.
