So yesterday I went to open an acct with the cable company, to get cable modem net access... and was told that they don't service my area. Startled, I called the other two companies in the city which provide cable and they both told me that they don't provide service to my building!! they might have a big ole antenna on the roof of the building hooked up to the cable outlets, that's what my building does for good reception (when the sneaky cable people don't try to disconnect it, or cap the outlets in the apts)
