PERFECT chapter. I could imagine the scene perfectly - Betty and Alfred in a kitchen together. He's busybusy and she's worrying with furrowed brows. Just perfect! I loved the ending too. :D

That's the perfect line to use when you're trying to dissuade a friend from having/adopting kids. If anything, I'm pretty sure that sixteen year old kids are more the cause for needing Prozac. ;)

I love Betty when she worries (which seems to be all the time, but...). And as for Alfred, that man is a saint. And it's kinda hard to find writers who bother finding just the right tone for him. You do it beautifully!

I'll be waiting for the next chapter (missing my Bruce terribly). And when is Dick going to show up?
