I watched a really sad program on BBC4 tonight, Sectioned, about 3 people who'd been sectioned due to mental illness. There was a young man who'd come from a violent home, been abused as a child, and now had paranoid schizophrenia. Tonight I watched the self-explanatory documentary "Olympics 1968: Black Power Salute" on TV. What was really astonishing about it was the character of Avery Brundage, head of the International Olympic Committee at the time.
