aww that's awesome, I think I may have chatted with them years ago when I was breeding and showing, that's great. ^_^ Your really lucky they are very nice dogs.
Oh, he's just adorable! Shar-peis tend to be pretty stubborn. The ones I've been with are all very intelligent and think for themselves thank-you-very-much, so training can be rough. Start asap and don't get too lax with him. Can't help you much with toys. Our Jack's favorite toy is anything made out of cardboard so he can rip it to shreds. He's particularly fond of the boxes that the cheap nutrigrain cereal bars come in. (don't ask me why!)
He is one beautiful boy! They are very special dogs that become very devoted to their family. Our Ming and Lola are really fond of stuffed toys with squeekers in them. Start training as soon as you can and don't give up on teaching him tricks and obedience. Our dogs started going outside to do their "business" from the time we brought them home at 8 and 6 weeks respectively. I think Ming being older helped to teach his little girlfriend Lola! Congratulations on your beautiful family addition!
he's a real cutie! lookit that face! hehe my Peis always love soft squeaky toys best. NO SOY in their food, they are allergic to soy. they usually hate water or getting their feet wet. some are leary of strangers but make great family pets and really LOVE you and whoever lives there. good luck with your new puppy and ask any questions you might have!

OMG he is SO handsome, where are you getting him from?
Shar-pei are not like a lot of breeds, they are one of a kind in personality.
Most Shar-pei LOVE stuffies, anything soft. careful on what you feed cause shar-pei can become allergic to some dogs foods.
Welcome to the awesome world of the Shar-pei though, they are awesome.
I added you to my friends list if that's okay??
(hugs) to you and your new pupperz.
