My 1 1/2 yr old puppy, Hunter- today his tail as been uncurled and straight back all day. It's very rare that his tail is uncurled. Do you think something is wrong or bothering him?

I would take his temperature. Has he ever had fevers before? For a lot of shar pei the only time that tail comes down is when they are having a fever. If he has a high temp plain aspirin followed by a trip to the vet in the next few days to get a blood test would be a good idea.

He could just be lazy today though, so don't freak out too bad so long as he's eating, drinking, and has a normal temp.
