You're assembling metal? Forward cogs, gears, sprockets, and other things for clockworks to me and I'll build you whatever you like. If you need -talent-, what better than an ergaleomancer?

I had no idea someone like that existed here.

We're looking for metal to destroy, but if you can assemble you can probably disassemble, correct?

I don't....think you understand the nature of my abilities. What exactly are you trying to do? Work towards releasing us from this prison, I assume?

I have no idea what he wants to use you for. You ought to talk to him; however, there are many mechanics and engineers here who could use the parts you could salvage, if you're good with gears.

I also don't know anything about the nature of your abilities, so perhaps you should explain if you're so eager to assist.

You want all that metal we reinforced the yard with when I take the pool down at the end of the summer?

And oh yeah - been thinkin' about goin' to the Post Office to get my sword back. Heard you can trade other shit you got back from the town before instead of, y'know, losin' arms and stuff. Whaddaya think?

wristsniper August 22 2010, 19:30:34 UTC
It may be beneficial. You're taking it down? I worked my ass off for that, you know.

...What are you trading? On the whole, don't like any of that post office shit. You know this.

Well, it's not like leavin' a beach on the front lawn is really gonna make much sense when it starts to snow. I figured I'd clear out the sand, tear down the pool and toss it in storage... stuff like that. But we can leave the metal there if you want.

As for the trade... my scars for my sword. Been thinkin' it might be better to have as much fighting power as I can. But, uh... well. I know you kinda like the scars. And I like 'em too. Full of memories, y'know?

No, it's fine. Just wait until it's needed to do it.

...Do what you must. It's an acceptable trade. [A pause.] Why would you even consider what I want, in that case?

A dueling society, you say~? [It's easy to hear the utter glee in her voice.] You can count me in!

And I'll see what kinda metal stuff I can scrounge up!

You're enthusiastic; you're one of the people I had in mind, as well. What times are good for you? I'll try to match it to everyone's schedule.

Your efforts are appreciated.

It's just nice to have something to do, and if it involves kicking some ass, even better~... I'm free most evenings, I think, after the library's closed. I hate my job.

Always happy to help! ♥

[Have some incredibly excited knocking at your door, Olivier. Also the sound of pots and pans clattering around.]

[Opening... wtf.]

That was fast.

[Hachibe's got a bunch of metallic cookware from his family's kitchen with him, some of it having fallen to the ground around him while he was trying to ring the doorbell. There is a pot on his head like a helmet, and he's carrying a frying pan in one hand. He grins and looks up at Olivier as she answers the door.]

"I knew it! You sound even better in person!"

[And then, when he gets a good look at her face, his eyes go wide in amazement. He's sort of frozen there for a moment, staring in awe.]

.... I may be able to help, but... can I ask what Mr. Saeba's up to?

[Filtered] wristsniper August 22 2010, 19:03:03 UTC
...I'd say blowing things up and breaking and entering.

I kinda figured that. Any particular plans? I understand if you don't want to get into it on the phone, or with me, but... I'm good with breaking and entering. Really good. I could probably be of some help.

I know several people are targeting the post office; he may be one of them. I do know he wants to secure several of the houses as well.
