Here's finally chapter 11, sorry for the long delay, but my regular beta was busy, and I didn't want to post before somebody had at least checked it for the regular grammar and spelling stuff.
Thankfully, spikeswilngslav is now working as my content beta, helping me shape the story as I write it, and spherissa kindly volunteered to give this chapter the final polish.

This is so very good! Xander is starting to come back to himself just a little. Poor Spike though, he misses the old Xander so much! Great job luv, I can't wait to see the next bit!

*grin* I figured Dawn is more likely to put such things into words than willow, and it seems to fit her, and still not make her a non-caring or indifferent person.

Some stories take me a little while to sort out when I pick up reading them again after a long time. Not this one.

I love Willow and Dawn's experience with the animals. And Dawn's sounding very sensible about trusting Xander's insticts.

The bond between Spike and Xander is even clearer. I look forward to more of this.

Very nice chapter. I had skipped a few (sometimes get lost in the WIPs). Some really nice interaction here and the story seems to have hit its stride plotwise, all the previous threads seem to be coming together. Can't wait to see more of it.
