That was lovely, hon.

My heart aches for them, seperated for so long and loving each other so much. Spike must have been completely broken by it. I wonder what Xander was feeling. Was he really just going quietly mad all by himself for all that time? Heartbreaking.

Lovely lovely chapter. I am so glad to have more of the backstory explained and the portrait of the binding ceremony that you give us is very sweet. I don't think you should be nervous about the way you told it at all. Spike was literate after all; I think he could do "once upon a time" quite well. :) Good job!

I just always want to do my best when writing a story, and am not always confident that I have done so...

And in hindsight, there were some details in the story that I didn't want to keep, so it's more vague and gives me more room to manoeuver now.
