I accidentally killed my computer.  I spilled soap on it at NEYM annual sessions where I was last week, and it shorted out. So as soon as I got home, I bought a netbook- a 400 dollar laptop that is surprisingly comparable to the 1400 dollar laptop I inadvertedly destroyed.  Now I'm sitting out on my porch, typing on this two pound machine, and

honestly, i see everyone using iPhones in the future. to me, the release of the iPhone was the first time in awhile I said to myself "wow, the future has arrived." not that I LIKE that future or think it's DESIRABLE, but between the size, the internet connection anywhere, the apps, the touch screen, etc. it's the first common/consumer gadget that was like "wow, this is better than the shit in sci-fi movies."
