While other kids watched Ghost Busters, Sam had trained to be one.

(Here via a rec.) I really liked this. The image of Sam distracted from Dean by the sight of a normal family and that mysterious mother walking along with them. And Dean trying write Sam a note, and Sam noticing a difference in his brother.... The progression of the boys' relationship as each tries to find his own role in life, it's so much like any siblings would go through, and it makes me happy to see them still able to connect at the end. Thank you very much for sharing it!
