I just happened to stumble here from a few wrong left turns (been doing that alot lately, haha), and was so curious that I just couldn't pass up a read.

The pairing is just so weird is sorta does work, I liked it.

*squeee* normally i'm a nick/carly shipper but for some reason lately i've been craving nick/wade (or all three) and somebody pushed me in this direction *LOL* :D

oh boy am i glad they did :P

i really love the movie and i've kind of gotten attached to the pairing so if you know of any other nick/wade fics out there, point me in the right direction? *pleading eyes* :D

He’s pulling Nick towards his car, shouting something over his shoulder in that deep, affected tone that he must get when he’s trying to be tough.

I love Wade. I saw House of Wax when it first came out and didn't really know who Jared Padalecki was (same with Cry Wolf--he was in Cry Wolf, right?), and so when I started watching Supernatural and looked him up because I was falling in love with him, I was like WTF HE WAS IN HOUSE OF WAX? and so I re-watched it (I had pretty much bought it as soon as it came out on dvd lmao) and i was like HOMG HE WAS THE GUY THAT MADE ME CRY LMAO. I loved Wade. And I thought it was soooo retarded that he died FIRST. Sometimes horror movies are so unjust. Anyway. Back to your story. I love how you've described him, especially because you used the word affected and that's really really perfect.

LMAO I BASICALLY STOLE ALL OF THIS FROM THE OUTSIDERS, OR AT LEAST THAT'S HOW IT LOOKS IN MY MIND.

Jared was in Cry_Wolf, but that movie is kind of crap. I really liked Wade, too, and I cringe everytime that he dies. I blame the wincest for my Carly/Nick reference, because normally that'd be like "ew", but did you SEE how he looked at her in the movie?!?! CMM does not know how to play someone's brother.
